Laugh at lines sharpen hooks
Darkness crawls around their eyes
It’s there mask their disguise
I fear the fangs they show to me
Is it fate or should I let it be
Do I engage as they slither over
As the devils water spills over
Onto my arm as they touch
Is it genuine or a crutch
Somewhere deep their humans like me
