Here, I am admiring you from afar.
Yet I'm content, even though others claim you as theirs.

Just to steal a cute picture of yours to keep.
 
I felt your presence near even when you're far away.
I know when others talk behind your back
As if I'm interested in every detail. 
All I remember was when they mentioned your name.
 
I automatically smile when others compliment you.
As a sign of agreement and to not let them know
How my heart flutters as they mention you in front of me.
You are the reason why I'm now a good pretender, you see.
