I've Finally Found You
Alone you are not, in this life it cannot be
In all the dimensions of numberless encounters, why must we see
Our eyes stop for an instant, an instant shall we find
A lifetime of passion, forever wasn't so long
In your voice I hear the seductive song
Remembrance of the pain making us tolerant and strong
Circling the Beast as I make my presence known
Making her smile, my cover is blown
Showing my fangs as I lower my gaze
Knowing she's set my soul ablaze
She has the resemblance of a Wolf in human form
Seeing through my scowl my mask she has torn
Nothing this life has taught me could have prepared me for this
To feel the tender touch of her, and loves first kiss
I am an animal, she must fear me as my will she must consent
But, why do I feel at peace when she's near compelling me to repent
I am me, before I knew who I was. Yet, those little things that pleased me without anyone ever knowing save I. Showing her what I found in beauty in this darkened souls eye. A hundred years to a day, a second in a millennias past, a grain in the sands of time, why would we find each other time after time? In this life I have searched and finally found the sign.
To chase the rabbit as it disappears in haste
Looking for a clue without a second to waste
Somehow someone somewhere took pity on my plight
For they peered into my soul and found the good fight
Would they find what the rabbit hole had intended?
A lunatic searching for lost love, stumbling through the maze alone and unattended?
Or did they find sanity lost in an insane reality?
What a conundrum to witness in such a calamity.
They did find each other, but it wasn't who he thought
The devil in his treachery showing him a distraction in what he bought
Then, out of the darkness, a light shown to him in a dream
Awakened as he walked, a vision it would seem
Alone but standing strong, finally finding him wondering why it took him so long.
With a solumn and pitiful look, as he casually strolled to his love.
Well, you know me he says, as she adorns him with a gentle hug.
