In sacred scriptures, a healing balm is found,
The Word of God, a medicine, that soothes the wound,
For every hurt, a remedy is revealed,
A prescription of hope, that the heart can yield.

Balm of Gilead

Like the balm of Gilead, the Word restores,
Healing the brokenhearted, and opening closed doors,
Its potency is proven, its power divine,
A medicine that heals, the deepest wounds of mine.

Prescription of Peace

In anxious times, the Word prescribes a peaceful place,
A refuge from life's storms, where love and joy...
