My life is an open book,
That led me through every nook,
And every corner of discovery,
Of life's long journey
As I go through it
I try to find myself
not that I was ever lost
I smile at the sun when it shines
I grin at the moon when it appears
I stare at the stars and wish
they could be plucked
like morning flowers
and then I figured
as amazing as these are
the most beautiful thing
is knowing someone is there
for you
when it all becomes dark...
