Although you chose to do the trip alone this time.
Work and leisure,
Exotic location.
I'm here forsaken, ranting about the missed trip.
The chance to be with you,
The opportunity to travel.
Our 2 month old, deep in slumber.
Someday she may ask me about this missed vacation
And I have no plausible reason for this hankering.
Yet I wish I could have been there.
With you beside us, the world feels complete.
