Have you ever been in danger? A life and death situation? Write a poem about the feeling of hurting yourself really bad.

I've been told I live on the edge
Dancing and risking my life for fun
I've been told I don't know my limits, that I push until I'm dead
My pain tolerance is high, and I never care for when it's seem like the injury could be my down fall

I've been told I'm to selfless
To giving
To empathetic
I would give I finger or a bone
My heart and my soul
For someone I barley know
But I would do it to see them happy

Pain is my friend some days
Keeping me sane
Keeping me calm
Pain is my enemy other days
It gives me insanity
Gives me gief

But still I chose to live on edge
Dancing with my fate, with my safety
Just to see how far the limits can be pushed
To see how much of the pain is tolerable
Maybe someday someone will draw the line for me
