Dysphoria
A dysphoria in time
my heavy mind wails,
time waits
yet I groan,
would all this
soon go away?
Would all the pleatings of my soul
and the kneadings of my heart
soon be a thing to forget?
Twists and turns
I’ve known to go
but always seem to arrive
at the point where I am now,
the dysphoria of my heart,
mind,
body
and soul.
Yet I’m being told
that despite the answers I seek
and the questions I speak,
I already know what I need,
but choose not to heed.
Cause strange
as it may seem
there’s something
soothing in all the complexity,
something forbidden.
I know this because
I’m among the few chosen
to see the secrets hidden
that only the Most Hight reveales
but inside our minds
yet here I am still drowning
in my dysphoria.
