I have always wanted to create something vibrant and beautiful.
I tried my hand at visual art, and it was chaotic.
I attempted being a musician, and my sound would not oblige.
Finally I turned to literary pursuits, my first true love...
It was then I realized that art is not necessarily that which is seen or heard but rather that which is felt.
It affects the thoughts, emotions and perceptions of those it touches no matter the medium.
I came to the conclusion that yes I am an artist, but my artistry is that which will live on in books rather than canvases or compact discs.
In this I have found my voice and my essence and I will continue to create not just for myself but for those whom I can impact by giving my thoughts life.
