Life is temporary and loss is permanent.
I know this by watching leaves fall,
Seasons they will change.
Autumn becomes spring.

You were always up when the sunrises,
And at bed when the sunsets.
Things change with age,
And now sadly it's time for mourning.

Two hearts, one beat. That was you and me.
I'm living in the past where it kept beating,
But now we are going in different directions.

The moon paints the land with silver,
And I can only smile reading your name.
You refuse to let shadows cast over.
You always smiled.

And I know birds fly in different directions.
But I hope to see you again.
But until then, I'll allow you to hold my heart as a parting gift.
Keep it as I keep your memories.

Now fly high, fly high.
