unrequited as always
Everytime I see her
I always somehow wonder
If we're watching
In the same direction

You two aren't together, however
I think of you, when I see her
Maybe cause your eyes are glued
On her, like mine is to you

Must be nice, having your attention
All to herself without any distraction
Yet she's taking it for granted
She doesn't know, you're all I ever wanted

My thoughts are all about
How much my hate and jealously
Would turn to a tree from a sprout.
Even I'm starting to hate me

Yet, you're brainstorming on how
To get her to your side now
Hurriedly, not wasting any time
Like how I always wanted you to be mine

She, a beacon in the distant night,
I, a wanderer without respite.
Questions I do not dare
When our eyes meet are you unaware?

Running after her, all-round you chase,
While I chill and find solace in this space.
For this love's journey is but a winding road,
May it lead us to where true hearts are stowed.
