I'm very glad
that you stabbed me on my back
coz I could still smile
all the while.

My pain nobody could read
nor did they notice me bleed
They showed me plastic courtesy
and rejoiced, my misery

So I wore a smile,
& moved on, with style.
Though it really hurt,
I mustered some gut
and smiled my way
each and every day.

I am glad
that it was a back stab
coz I could fake a smile
all the while.
