I love my reflection
more than any painted picture,
I see myself
strong
even when I'm sinking deep enough to get lost
even when hope leans backwards
I carve holes
finding that little light
in the midst of the darkest
I'll smile
I see myself beautiful
despite the flaws
And from my scars
I evolve
continuously
into unique versions of myself
Breaking, and building
Shedding off, and blooming.
