A brief moment,
A relapse.
Thought I was through,
Passed,
Out the other end,
But then I remember,
Remember the wound,
The scar,
The gash placed on my soul.
This eternal damage,
This thing that will stay forever.
The ache will dull,
The ache will fade,
But forever my wound remains.
