I've loved and lost, through many years,
My heart has ached, through many tears.
I've held my hope, through thick and thin,
But love has failed, again and again.
I've tried my best, to find the one,
But each time, my heart is done.
I wonder why, this fate I bear,
My heart so strong, my life so bare.
I've dreamed and hoped, for love so true,
But all I've found, is heartbreak's rue.
