Just beyond the veil of reality
Sits a man whose life is plurality
Bordering on nonsense and duality
Desiring relief from banality

Sitting and ponder life
Thoughts of a once present wife
Trying not to drown in currents of strife
Contemplating finality derived

Realizing that moments flash by
Like rivers of time on the fly
Catching that current he tries
No longer wishing good byes
