Dystopia
The world as we know it..
Is slowly dying..
Where there was laughter..
I hear the sirens blare..
The cheering of the crowds at ballparks..
Are drowned by the metallic thunder..
Of massive toys of the god of war..
The dogs of war roam the streets..
Where the birds of prey soar the skies..
Jackals and Hyenas sprawl the shadows..
Waiting for you to take a shot at me..
Till I shoot you dead where you stand..
The heartless..
The ruthless..
Stand around their round tables..
With the blue prints of the new world..
Spread across the ruines and ashes
Of the land we called home..
Building a Utopia that we shall never enter..
The Eden that's born of greed..
Of prejudice..
Where there's an orchard of apples..
And you smirk and say..
Why have one when we can have as many as we want..
Here there is no god..
There aren't any rules..
Why should we stop us..
When we just can..
