The Cry of The Hungry
#WritcoPoemChallenge
Seated by the roadside
Having no human to confide
As drops of tears falls from his eyes
Cause he doesn't have food...unable to sigh
He looks at everybody around
Unable to Even make a sound
Unable to even beg for food
Cause they can't allign with his mood
He looks at his situation
With all lack of expression
Inwardly, he pours out his wish
While staring at the rich
No one wants to give
At least, something little for him to live
His hunger increases every passing day
To the point, he begins to say
"Maybe I'm wretched"
Such a negative thing he said
"Maybe I'm nothing"
Unknown to him, he's a King
No one wanted to go close to him
No one wanted to help him
Even when they saw the torn clothes on him
The Rich drove past him
Being insensitive of his plight
Perhaps, they're scared that he may bite
Everyone cares about themselves so much
That they are unable to give to such
He began to lose hope
Lacking what he needs to cope
Not feeling God's Love from people
He picks up a razor blade to bring an end to his trouble.
