I always enjoyed a good prank
Especially on my friends
Back when I was in jr high
When library books were over due
The librarian would come to your class
Announcing to all what books are missing and from who
The librarian was out often
So we could check out our own books
Only needing our last name for the computer
While checking out a book an idea bloomed
I hurried off to a shelf and searched
Perfect
I go to another shelf
Even better
I go to the computer
And sign out the two books
Back at my locker I tossed them in
A month or two had passed
Papers, binders, and junk buried the books
I’m at my locker when I heard my name
My friend Mark runs up to me yelling
“Did you sign out Coping with Rejection and
The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants under my name you asshole?”
