My journey is worth talking about.
I too am fighting battles
like the great warriors in history textbooks.
My battles are inward.
They exist in a place that is hidden away from public eyes.

My journey is worth writing about.
I am fighting them solo.
Swords or face shields have been replaced by the one weapon- Love.
And I'm still learning its proper use.

Sometimes victories in there
open my eyes to some horrors out here.
They make me wonder if I have
really won.
Then I dive back in
to find more answers,
but I come out with
more questions than before.
It's a cycle.

Battles are fierce and the weapon is scarcely available.
At times there is help from one or two outside who can offer some Love.
and that saves the day,
until next time.

My journey is worth narrating, but I will write the end when I reach there.
