Hey snow flakes!
So beautifully you come down
dancing around,twirling around.
My ecstasy runs to catch you,
the cool warmth in you,
Alas! The blanket beneath swallows my feet.
So hurriedly you escape from my pace.

You see the poor bird,
it's lachrymose eyes,tears shining
Thinking how to get a worm for dinner!
That old fogy too seems silent.
The evil snow he calls you.
whole world has shrunk.
But my heart leaps out seeing you floating across.
