If only wishes can come true,
I have one or two or maybe a few,
And they're all about you,

I wish I didn't want to wish you
because that way I would be free.
Would love no other more than me

I wish there were no skies above
to make me wish upon a star
and feel no sadness when you're far

I wish I'd never seen your face
I wish I didn't wish in vain
Cause wishing you brings only pain

This is a tragic fairytale
I wish I didn't feel so blue
I wish that love was not a jail
I wish that wishes could come true
