flowers ~

delphinium orchid queens stand so regal
sunflowers warming hearts smiling radiant lemon drops of sunlight
birds of paradise orange and purple flame, ready to take flight
daises entwined in maiden’s hair, innocence will soon steal
silvery dewdrops glisten upon sleepy snowdrops as they kneel
midnight faeries singing bella donna’s magikcal spells, enchanting the night
foxglove meadows surrender to wind, dancing to one’s delight
chrysanthemums cushioned petals, sweet perfume never conceal
pansies, black irises, colorful munchkins lead down garden paths
dandelions resistant, plucked, bleed wishes.

spider webs envelop thistles, pixies teasing children’s’ imagination
lilies of the valley pristine in emerald forests, revel in sunbeam baths.

narcissus, watery reflection he kisses
roses, thorny arrogance, beauty in all flower’s creation.
