DOUBLE EMOTIONS
I could stare so long with contempt in my eyes,
Destroying your words piece by piece in my mind,
My spite burns and rage fuels me on,
Within me is great fury.
But my face remains still like water undisturbed,
My smile makes me appear like I'm one,
One of the bright and perfect little lamb,
The dreams you had of course I created a scene in your mind.
Hell! My anger breaks every bone and I've prayed for the grace to keep sane while I'm hating all the way, everyday.
I know it's so awkward to say, but yeah in this realm I'm willing to dwell.
