locked In Pain
Locked in, locked down, emotions come pouring out,
Stuck at home,
Stuck in a hole,
Stuck in my own thoughts.
Depression grows, anxiety increases.
I'm lost
Living in a locked world, to the point essentials for those living with chronic pain and other issues, have become non essential, it becomes more exhausting, more painful, we are now just lost in a shadow.
Can't get the extra help we have been used to.
Sticking to the normal pills, without the extra boost of treatment we get every so often.
Life's essentials aren't really all that essential anymore, not if your living in the shoes of someone who's sick from the inside out.
Chronic pain is no joke.
Half the world doesn't see that.
The world seems to have forgotten about that part.
Everyone has there problems, not everyone is normal, not everyone can call a doctor for a script to be sent into a pharmacy, to just quickly get over a cold, infection or flu.
It becomes more complex than that if your living every single day, battling something that needs more treatment than your able to currently get.
It's not even just people like me with those problems its much more.
What about the people who need chemo.
They can't, not right now, they just have to live day to day and put that treatment on hold.
There's gotta be a way to find a compromise for those who really desperately need certain treatments in this world.
It's a battle day after day, things like these are a constant battle from the moment they start.
Even if it was years ago, something you were born with, or if it's a new problem
Now it's us who are put on hold.
It's us who are going to continue to suffer in and out but throw on our "I'm fine" attitude and continue to fight it out.
But are we fine?, do we feel fine?
No,
But what can we do,
Nothing.
Sure I'll make a trip here and there for my food, for my household needs.
It's more than that,
Our health and pain is not something a walk outside can help,
Food, and water isn't going to help those like this to improve.
Forget the bars, concerts, amusement parks, and everyday things we have always been used to.
It's the treatments we need that we are unable to take ahold of,
to help us stay more focused, and feel more alive, to live day to day without all the bumps.
Next time you complain your bored at home with no where to go.
Just think there's others struggling with more to keep sane, away from the mental, physical, emotional, painful problem we live with every single day.
It was always hard before anything was ever put on hold, but now it's even harder than before and there is nothing we can do,
There is no help,
There is no comprise right now to work around those with issues that need that help now, while also keeping everyone else safe.
Should there be a way to make sure everyone on each end is safe,
Yes.
Is it going to happen?
Probably not,
People battling right now with things like this will continue to live in the shadows until we can get the help we need.
When it's convenient for everyone else.
Not looking for pity, but unfortunately it's a way more common problem that so many people have and have kept quiet about.
Yes people like us agree we need to stay safe and need to continue doing what we need to,
No need to read this and jump to conclusions,
Read this and open your mind and realize, there's way more too it.
