THE SUN WILL RISE☀️
We sat in semi-circular manner,
At the center was the old man,
We could notice his aged eyes
trying to look at us,
The he narrated the saga of our clan,
And he concluded:“My grandchildren,
the sun will rise!”

I went to look after cattle,
My feet encased in oversized slippers;
blue in right leg and red in other,
Then came a man with torn flat cap,
Struggling to walk with a stick,
He put a cap on my head and said:
“child of my great friend, the sun will rise”

At evening I sat beside our hat,
Doing homework using light that
penetrated through the fence from our
prodigy neighbour,
My mother made supper and brought
to me,
She said:“my child, the sun will rise!!”
