I wear a mask
Because of COVID
But there's another
One I wear
On a day-to-day
Basis.
To pretend that I'm
Fine and happy
And can laugh
At stupid jokes.
When inside,
I'm sad,
And sorry,
And not sure
How to feel
In general.
I hope I won't
Have to wear
Two masks on
Christmas Day.
