not until I say goodbye to mom
then would death come in time
not until I pay her worth
would I embrace death's pangs.

I haven't done a thing
one from which I will praise myself for
one through which I will tell the grave about
just one thing I will always be proud of.

where is that one single kid
a copy of me I want to leave on earth
the one who will live my best version
the one who will mourn when I die.

what is that beautiful story
I will tell all the Angels about
how life on earth was
how much God blessed me with.

what about those people
to whom I will be named a sponsor
those whose lives I will touch
with any goodies I may have.

I want to live a rich life
a life of goodness and kindness
may my life reflect of His beauty
the giver of life and all its ingredients .
