Where is it written,
That every day is gonna be a good one.
Or who said,
That better days are promised us.

Each day rises fresh,
Each day acts new,
Each day beats different,
To the rhythm of our life.

Some days joyous,
Some days sad, dark and solemn,
But in all these,
One thing is promised.

That God will give us,
His strength to overcome,
And move on with zeal,
Onto another day.

I've never seen anybody,
Kill himself because of a bad day.
But I've seen somebody,
Cry his heart off,
And still face another worse day.
And this is the strength,
That we glory in,
As humanity.
