How did it end?
It ended when the person I loved was gone,
replaced by a bitter soul that only spews hatred and vitriol.
Maybe the person was never there at all, and I simply ignored all the signs, advertising the reality of what I once thought I would be with for the rest of my life.
I used to want that,
now it sounds like a prison.
But how did it end, you ask.
How did it end?
It ended when your selfishness wrecked my goals and toyed with my emotions,
Your reckless statements which you are never truly sorry for.
Your empty promises that always disappointed like rotten...
