Today's the day, to celebrate your life,
Happy Birthday to you, my beautiful wife.
An important day, I'm always thankful for,
A day I'll cherish always, and forever more.

You're the most important, person in my life,
A blessing, a best friend, a fit just right.
Just seeing you smile, brightens my day,
No matter my troubles, no matter my pain.

I'll be at work, by the time you get up,
So enjoy this poem, with the coffee in your cup.
Wish I could be there, so you wouldn't be alone,
But just know always, you make our house a home.

The light for the children, the space that I need.
The only woman in my mind, that I ever see.
God's greatest creation, to me He did lend.
Until He calls you home, you'll always be my best friend.
