Listless Hue
Leaves dance, to a listless tune
When a cool wind somberly blows,
They shall fly, in rhythms, ever so soon

And as clouds float in languid repose
The sunshine’s rays glimmer in blue
Relinquishing fear, as skies suppose

Suddenly a distance, endowed and renewed
As skies turn grey, and in a haze, to dispose
Begin to turn to an even darkened view

Nonetheless, we shall praise, not oppose
And, begin our day with thoughts anew
In hopes to withstand and soon bestow

New ways, and to ultimately bid adieu
The days we feel, a little less than low
And, to the feelings that arrive overdue

So today, look up, and soon God will show
Something inside, you feel, you already knew
As He bestows upon you, a gentle glow
When your life will have an all-new hue
