A letter to myself

Shattered pieces on the floor,
Love's mosaic, broken now.
Tears that fall, like winter's rain,
Washing memories down the drain.
Darkness creeps, a suffocating cloak,
Anxiety's whispers, a chilling joke.
The weight of sadness, a crushing tide,
Hope seems lost, nowhere to hide.
But wait, a flicker, a tiny spark,
A fragile ember in the dark.
Remember, dear heart, you are strong,
There's beauty in you, where you belong.
Take a breath, and let it be,
This too shall pass, you'll eventually see.
One step at a time, through the pain,
The sun will rise, and joy return again.
