GOODBYE
It breaks my heart each time you say goodbye
and I wonder
do we need all these farewells
cant we be together like the lightening and the thunder
they come together
and together they leave
and I look for examples in people
finding the perfect pair
while the example is right in front of me
all I have to do is look up
maybe up there will be our final goodbye
when you are looking down and I am staring at the sky
and I glare till the aeroplane passes by
and then as you vanish
at a height impossible to reach
thats when I see the lightening and thunder
