Slow Motion
Can we please love in slow motion?
Watch the gentle sun never set
over the eternal ocean,
letting not these grains of sand
to slip through our fingers unplanned,
instead turning this hourglass
upside down over and over
so that time may never pass.
We can take things real slow,
not thinking about the future,
just letting lazy kisses leave it’s afterglow.
Let’s walk through the trees
watch how they never age,
how they stay the same with ease,
See how the leaves never drop,
like our love
which will never stop.
I know it’s a crazy notion,
