I remember like it was yesterday
when I felt the warmth of you,
when I looked into our future,
when I knew I wasn't alone.

I remember like it was yesterday
oh how the pain is sharp as stone,
how only the desire to be with you,
is all there's left to be known.

I remember the excitement of your arrivals,
oh how the anxiety took me,
like running along a fluffy white cloud feeling so free,
because right there is where i wanted to be.

I remember times when you were sorry and you looked at me with those puppy eyes,
how sometimes my pride was foolish,
but deep down
they got me everytime.

I remember our silly moments
and the little videos we made,
but I try not to remember
the reasons that somehow
they all got erased.

But just like yesterday
I had a desire for you,
a hunger to grow and see
if what I thought I always knew.
A thirst that now could never be quenched,
now my dreams will never come true.

Only now replays the same old song.

Your the man I decided was for me
despite the differences we had,
but I have to be stronger then love
when it feels like pain
that hurts this bad,
and just remember the little good times,
even if just desires are all we had.
