Hush I Broken
Like I said hush my broke,
But this is from the other side,
This is the ugly side of loving,
That parts we repress and hide,

The side that cries before the strike,
Bleeds far before the wound,
The side that prepares for the after shock,
Shrouded so heavy it's sorrowed and gloomed,

The part that knows the deepest love,
For it's intensity only felt after it's lost,
The reality that speaks to me of inevitability,
That to love truly theres always a cost,

For me it's the comfort and security,
Of the company that's sure to wonder,
Leaving behind only one side of the whole of love,
For me alone to remember and honor,

How could a heart love so deep,
Yet not be meant to find a beat to rhyme,
Being one of the hardest questions to answer,
Yet I so willingly fall into every time,

Empathy derived from the heart,
Nobility inescapable for it's the only way,
So much love for all that I have lost,
But never the love I'm begging to stay,

Hush now my broken, hush now so ill be,
I'll do my very best to appreciate while it's around,
And find peace in the reality of your loss,
So I might hold on to something when your no longer around.
