The days were unending as were the nights,
She waited and waited and waited,
But there seemed no hope in sight…

Her hopeless eyes and fearful heart
By the passing time,
Were gradually losing the calmness art

The Flashback of promises
Of never leaving each other
Those hugs and those kisses
Each day continued to bother

Every morning brought with it
A new reason to live
She saw her dream turning into bit
And found no one who could more give.
