The Girl Staring at Me
There is a girl staring at me,
but I do not know what she see’s.
But I can hear her saying awful things,
Her words sure know how to cause a sting.
She is tearing me apart,
Not even sparing my heart.
And I cannot recognize her,
Because my vision is a blur.
And soon enough, I lash out too,
And both of our eyes fill fuller with blue.
So I throw my fists, needing it to stop
But then my knuckles are bloody and the mirror has dropped.
