I'm a mirror.
To some, I'm the most pleasure.
To others, I'm just a measure.
To those who know me, I'm the greatest terror.
I was made to help you see how you look.
But believe me, I'm as omniscient as a book.
I've witnessed everything.
I've known all your secrets.
I even saw you in your darkest nights.
When no one was by your side.
You humans are weird.
You always judge yourselves by how you should appear.
Without considering that your heart proves if you are sincere.
Looks are the the most things that you fear.
That you let your hearts become cashiered.
It's funny how I know the way your image feels.
It's funny that I can see past your flaws that you try to conceal.
I'm not just an image of your outward mendacity.
I'm a reflection of your own personality.
So value me as you place your favorite book on the shelf.
For that I'm your true self.
