I am Aurora
And he is Night
I love the light
While he is into dark

He reminds me so much of the Moon
And we are shining on our own
While I reflect the Sun
Giving him light during his darkest times

We can be together, seldom
For we cannot afford our freedom
Only once in a Blue moon we meet
Through a glimpse of the eclipse

I rise up when he is down
He shows up when I am gone
I once became a star of him
But then assigned to be the light in the morning

I needed to lose myself just for him to be noticed
I needed to sacrifice my own happiness
For he is my definition of bliss
Though for him I am just a mess

I am Aurora, his friend, his companion
Who's secretly in love with the Moon
While he is Night who is now happy
For he's surrounded by stars that reflect his beauty

I am Aurora, the Sun
And he is Night, my Moon
We part our ways, way too soon
And I guess we are truly meant to be...
