Born and raised in the creeks, by citizens on the streets I learned,
Mentored by the best minds in the community of elders, in wisdom earned.

Forged with the ingredients of the best book, I set my way,
Without pause for self-pity, I ventured, come what may.

I'm not your regular man, for I've seen life through others' eyes,
Before using my lens, to discover more.
