Say Good Morning
Say good morning when we rise,
To see my reflection in your eyes.
Buy me tea in early strolls,
And start the day with joined up souls.
Call me often when I'm alone,
Keep me feeling in the zone.
Tell me where and what you do,
And if you need me to see things through.
Say you love me through the day,
Not in words but how you play.
Ask me questions, show you care,
And sit there patient in your chair.
Compliment my hair and smile,
Say those few hours had been a while.
Plan a visit to my place,
'cause you can't wait to see my face.
Keep me moving, not sat still,
Up those mountains, then downhill.
Keep me winning by your side,
Take me on a life long ride.
If you say you're feeling hurt,
I will take it in the dirt.
Trust me fully when you're down,
Look into those eyes so brown.
When life pays you, show me cash,
You trust me fully with our stash.
Make me laugh with every natter,
Dine me fine with every platter.
Visualise our lives ahead,
And think of me in times of rest.
I'll run around inside your head,
Until you think of me in bed.
