Hope is it self hopeless .
Bringing you only pain!
The slow poison never stopped ,
spreading through your veins.

The hollow feelings it creates ,
Keeps your inner turmoil going .
The anticipation of knowing the unknown ,
Keeps you at the edge !

Hope is it self hopeless !
Nothing good out of it .
Shattering you in so many ways ;
It's still the same .

No remorse , no agony could
relate with hope you had once .
Only causing so much harm ,
on it's way !

Once so mesmerizing you thought ,
something to be !
Keeping you awake ,
through countless nights .

Making you twist and turn in your bed,
Keeping the feeling of anticipation on the edge .

Letting it bloom ,
Through the thoughts everywhere!
Without any rest ,
Your body is somewhere lying.
Deeply emerged in thoughts ,
Your mind going haywire !
