Volcanoes always say
they would stop feeling what they feel
only to find themselves stuck,
refusing to leave the magma admiration
they once felt, that once filled their chest
until days become nights and
nights become clear,
they can no longer bear their loss,
then they'll erupt,
shaking the ground
with blazing tears of regret.
I looked at the mirror and knew
today is another day to shake the ground.
