in writing there is a freedom
to speak uninterrupted
a relief
to put ache to paper and screen
by myself, seen
in between sips of hot lemon coffee
to give name to that which was long buried and forgotten
necessarily so
to speak the truth past denied
stuffed back where it sprung from like a sock down the sinkdrain
choking a desperate child, not permitted to breathe
so i speak
just to me
make sense of it all
parse the context
a solitary remembering
