What should never be...
In the silence that echoes in her absence,
A deep emptiness settles within me,
Like a void that can never be filled,
I long for her presence to set me free.
When she speaks my name, gooseflesh appears,
A shiver that dances down my spine,
Her words wrap apround me like a warm embrace,
In her absence, I wither like a vine.
Her eyes, a blaze of molten copper,
Ignite a fire in my soul,
With each smile, a thousand stars are born,
In her presence, I am once again whole.
I could never survive in a world without her,
For she is the air that I breathe,
Without her, life is but a cold and lonely abyss,
I would gladly welcome death than live in such grief.
