I thought it would be a lifetime
A never ending kinda thing
I guess the feeling was too beautiful
That I had no control over my emotions
Even my mind turned against me
And my heart joined hands with my allies

It was so easy to solve an equation in high school
Yet I failed to solve the real life equation
I guess that's why they say love is blind
I let you in and you left me shattered
With no wall to cover my shame
Coz I was stupid to let my guards down

I should have known better
Then I won't have honored you
Permitting your establishment
With a beautiful dwelling place
And even crowned you as my own
Yet you knew it was a moment and not a lifetime
