Colours of You
#WritcoPoemPrompt98
When shadows held my hand and whispered lies,
I walked alone under colorless skies.
Life was a canvas, blank and bare,
A hollow echo, a silent despair.
Then you arrived, like dawn's gentle light,
Turning my darkness into day so bright.
With every smile, every word you spoke,
The muted hues of my world awoke.
You painted warmth where cold had dwelled,
In hues so vibrant, my heart swelled.
Blues of the ocean, greens of the trees,
Reds of passion, a soul set free.
Now life blooms with colors untamed,
A masterpiece in which you’re framed.
For in this world that once felt small,
You’ve brought the colors, you’ve brought it all.
