New to Old
Pictures sit and collect dust.
They partially sit and I'm so confused as to why they just sit and we look.
New pictures turn old. Old pictures turn new.
A picture could have been taken in 1982 and we'll think it was taken yesterday.
A picture could be taken today and we'll think it was taken in 1987 just because it's in back and white.

The longer a picture sits the longer we forget.
Old pictures are remarkable.
They sit and we watch, but not a lot.
We care about more of the old instead of the new.
We're stuck in the past thinking how it's going to be.

But not how it should be.
Remarkable things are happening today "I'll say".
Don't think there's something on the way.
But still new things are old, just a recreation of something from the past.
